UCMP Named Nonprofit of the Year!
The Hudson County Chamber of Commerce recognized UCMP with the Nonprofit of the Year Award during their annual HOLA Event on September 24th. It was an intimate ceremony that also recognized other Hispanic leaders: Andrés Acebo (President, NJCU), Tania Umanzor (Branch Manager, Ponce Bank ), and the North Hudson Community Action Corporation. The ceremony was made even more powerful by keynote speaker Congressman Robert Menendez, who reminded the audience of the countless contributions the Hispanic community makes to this nation, inspiring all to keep pushing forward. A Joyful Return to Music!
UCMP is back in full swing! Our academic year began the week of September 22nd with our Back to UCMP Week. Students reconnected with friends and teachers, tuned their instruments, and dove right into rehearsals with their orchestras and ensembles.

UCMP's Latin Jazz Ensemble Shines at JC Latin Jazz Festival!
UCMP's Latin Jazz Ensemble brought their infectious rhythms to the JC Latin Jazz Festival on September 6th. Their performance wowed audiences and showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our young musicians.
